Rookie Camp!

hullo. Well you read right. rookie camp. rookie camp for what? band. and iam brass captain!I wanted it so bad but now i got to teach new students how to march and BEHAVE. Of course my year had no trouble being angels...GO CLASS OF 08!!!WOOT WOOT!!!!...what?anyway iam looking for a great time tomarow. its just going to be way cool. my boy friend calls me a band nerd...but i can proudly say that i am. you can kiss my butt. but he is also a gamer nerd...and a ma...mag...MaaaaagIc nerd. phew that was hard to say(note:that card game thining)he is gunna kill me for insulting it, but ive already sighned up to pla...::caugh: llllaaa...plAy it. owell. cant be to bad...anywho. tomarow will be fun. i get to see him and hang out with him. oyea. he is bass drum captain. iam so proudwell. i gotta go.bye!

Hello Megan! Thanx so much for stopping by my journal!
Wow, I can so relate to what you mean by feeling like you've fallen, and you just don't have the strength (or even the desire) to get back up... I've been feeling that way for months now. It really wasn't until this past week that things have started to change.. Remember, your life isn't over yet- God has promised us that He WILL continue to change us and grow us in His Word- and sometimes it takes awhile... sometimes we run from Him (which is what I've been doing for awhile).
At camp I told a lot of ppl I was struggling- that I just didn't have the desire to be victorious over the sin I was struggling with. They all encouraged me and said they would be praying, and even then I still didn't have the desire to do what was right.
But something broke- I really don't know what it was, but I know that it was completely God. He was faithful to give me that desire- it has a lot to do with asking for it, even when you still don't desire it at the time. Ask for the desire, God always gives it. And it's a REAL desire! It's hard to explain .
It's so freeing now... but you already know that from reading my journal, lol.
I'll definitely be praying for you!!!! *hugs* It'll be okay, really, it will! God can change you, even when it doesn't seem possible, cuz you KNOW that your heart isn't right. You also know it can be...
